Sian Beilock, a professor at the University of Chicago, discusses why students fail under too much pressure. She spoke to Central students and parents on Jan. 21.

On Jan. 21, Professor Beilock visited Hinsdale Central and gave a presentation about why students fail under pressure. Parents and students attended the event in hopes to learn how to handle stress better. This is especially helpful knowing that the ACT is tomorrow, Mar. 3 and AP exams will take off at the beginning of May.
